About Me
The Teacher - The Musician - The Equipment - Publications - Reviews

I am a violist and a Suzuki teacher. Teaching is my first love, though I also regularly play in worship services at my church, and (very) occasionally perform in & around the greater Los Angeles area.  Use the links for more details on my work as a teacher or performer, or for details on the equipment I use or list of publications I've contributed to as an author, photographer or recording artist.

When not teaching, practicing or performing music, I enjoy hanging out with my family, reading a good book, or visiting state & national parks. I am fascinated by the study of languages, and by fantasy or sci-fi stories, and I can sometimes be found participating in online classes at the Mythgard Institute.

I also have an interest in poetry, travel, and photography (and sometimes I get the right opportunity: two of my poems were published in the inaugural volume of the Sonnet Journal, Vol. 1, and one of my photos was published on the cover of the American Suzuki Journal - Vol. 41!).
